A woman with a thick foreign accent said she was from Openreach and told me my internet connection was marked as ‘public’ instead of ‘private’, saying it was a security threat. She then wanted me to go to ‘www.bit.ly/mcafee370’, but I got suspicious and asked what it was for. Right after that, she dropped the call. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
