I picked up thinking it was someone I knew since the number showed up as my landline on my phone. It was a woman who sounded quite abrupt and told me about a car crash. I told her I didn’t own a car at all. Then she got all aggressive saying she’d take my info off their records, almost like a threat. I got a call from a woman saying I’d been in a car crash. I played along, told her I was in hospital in a serious state and said I thought the call was from my mum. After that, I acted all distraught and she just ended the call.

Then she threatened she'd take my info off their system. I told her it’s fine, I’m not involved with any car, and she hung up pretty quickly after that.
