I got a call from someone who said his name was James and spoke with a strong Indian accent, calling from 02080142799. He claimed to be from Microsoft and even knew my name, address, and something he called the unique licence ID for my desktop. I played along for a bit until he wanted me to type something in a search bar. At that point, I told him I wasn’t falling for his scam and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.
