This number just rang me again. It was a bloke with an Asian accent asking how I was doing. I quickly realised it was some pointless cold call and ended the call. Guess what? He rang me back, asking why I cut him off! Getting annoyed, I asked what he wanted, and he claimed there was an issue with my computer. Told him to stop talking nonsense, hung up straight away, and blocked the caller. Writing this on a perfectly fine computer right now. What a muppet.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Windows in Birmingham, saying there was a hacking attempt on my Windows 7 computer. They asked me to switch on my PC and promised to help fix it. Thing is, I don’t even have a Windows 7 machine, plus the one I do have is protected by Norton Internet Security. Plus, I usually go online using my tablet which doesn’t run Windows at all. I told them I reckoned it was a scam and quickly hung up. They’ve kept calling multiple times today though.
