Sounds like one of those wangiri scams to me. If you ring them back, you might end up with a huge phone bill. Honestly, only silly folks would bother returning calls from numbers they don’t know. It's really not wise at all.

Got a really annoying call today, I picked up but there was silence and then they just hung up straight away. Tried ringing back but no answer. This is the second time in two days this has happened, so I've blocked both numbers now. I’m thinking of having a look at my call preference service because I’m not supposed to get calls like this. Wonder what’s changed all of a sudden?
