This number called me twice in quick succession. I didn’t pick up, but I’ve checked my voicemail, and it just recorded some background noise from an office, with no one actually speaking.

I received a voicemail from a woman with a thick accent claiming to represent HMRC, urging me to return her call immediately as it was urgent. The entire message came across as rather unprofessional, and she even ended it with a casual "Take care." I reported it to the police, and they advised me to ignore any calls from that number, mentioning they had already received several complaints regarding it. Looks like it’s some sort of scam going around.
