Got two calls from this number just moments apart. I didn’t pick up, but when I checked with 1571, all I heard was some office noises, no one actually talking on the line.

Got a voicemail from some woman with a strange accent claiming she was calling from HMRC, urging me to ring them back quickly as it was urgent. It all felt quite dodgy, especially as she ended with a ‘Take care’, which didn’t sound right for a gov department. I checked with the police and they told me to just ignore calls from that number, as lots of others had reported similar scam calls from it.
