So someone rang me saying they were from the TPS service and somehow already had all my info. Then they asked for the expiry date on my card, and that’s when I let them know exactly what I thought about the call and how annoying it was. They then said they’d put me through to the activation manager, but I just ended the call there. Mind you, I had received about 9 annoying calls earlier the same day before this one.

We’ve got a call blocker on the line and specifically barred this number, but they keep ringing every thirty minutes or so. It’s pretty annoying since no one’s picking up, yet they’re clearly trying hard to bother us and invade our privacy. Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, said he was with TPS. He already had my surname, postcode, and street name. Then he asked me to verify the expiry date on my debit card. Told him no way I’d do that and ended the call.

I never pick up calls from any 02 numbers. I just block and delete them from my call list, but they just keep ringing anyway. Usually, it's all these questions about your lifestyle. If you end up answering, you'll likely be hassled with even more calls from different companies. Like, say you mention having a conservatory, before you know it, a firm that installs conservatory blinds will be giving you a bell.

Got three calls from 02080028727, all within about half an hour from 2.47 to 3.17 pm. Ignored the first couple ‘cause I’ve had a few calls from that number before, they say they’re some company sorting out nuisance calls. When they called again between 11.37 and 1.38, I told them they’re the actual nuisance and told them to buzz off.

Got a call from some lady with a strong Indian accent, kept repeating, "Is this Mr.?" I never gave my name, just asked what she wanted. She asked again, "Is this Mr.?" after a few times I snapped and said, "Just answer the bloody question." She warned me about my language, saying calls are recorded. I told her to go ahead and record then buzz off and leave me alone. The line went dead immediately - bit worried I might have upset her! Why do these calls still get through when I’m on TPS and using call blocking? Totally annoying!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent around 3.45pm saying he was from some telephone preference thing. He kept asking for my bank info and assured me that once he set up my account, I wouldn’t get annoying sales calls anymore starting the next day!!! Seemed really fishy to me.
