1 yearBeware of a scammer pretending to be from Energy Services, chatting about loft insulation. Just hang up straight away!1 yearSome bloke rang me up claiming our loft insulation was either missing or not enough, and he added that his manager could sort it out to meet standards. I asked him how he could possibly know what's in my loft. He mentioned some government list that I’m pretty sure doesn’t exist. When I asked again how he got any info about the loft’s interior, he just kept pushing his sales pitch without explaining. After me repeating the same question a few times, he just cut me off and ended the call.1 yearThe moment our answering machine picked up, the caller just ended the call without saying anything.1 yearGot a bloke on the phone trying to sound all clever, claiming he’s some sort of energy advisor or something. Proper dodgy!1 yearGot a call from someone named Chris, sounded like one of those robot voices, really pushing us to check our loft insulation. Definitely reported the number to the telephone preference service.Chris1 yearGot a call from a bloke called Chris who spoke really clearly with a sort of southern English accent. He was chatting about loft insulation, but I think it’s fishy because someone with the same name and similar voice had called me before about driveways and solar panels. When I asked where he got my number from, he just hung up straight away. Definitely seemed like a scam.Chris1 yearAt about 10:32 on the 23rd of January 2025, our landline was rung by 02080028792. There wasn’t any message left on the answering machine and we didn’t pick up or call back. The number is unfamiliar to us.1 yearIt seemed like they were going after elderly folks. Once I mentioned I couldn’t hear very well, they just ended the call!1 year### Watch out for the infamous #### queen scam! Got a call from 02080028792 - total nightmare!1 yearJust got a suspicious call from some guy saying he was phoning houses in my area about 'poor loft insulation' showing up on some energy performance list. Thing is, there isn’t any Energy Performance Register like he said. There is an Energy Performance Certificate register though, which is something you can look up when buying a house and all that. We’ve been living here for 25 years straight and never had one of those certificates. So yeah, caught him out!1 yearI’m so fed up with these spam calls! There should be proper rules to deal with harassment and stalking on phones. It’s just not right.1 yearI missed the call, so I looked up the number on here. If it’s that bloke David from Windows and Doors again, I’m well pleased I didn’t pick up. I’ve blocked at least three different numbers from him in the past couple of weeks.David1 yearGot a call from this number but no message was left, seems dodgy and probably a scam.1 yearJust another spam call, nothing more.1 yearMissed the call and no message was left on my voicemail. Seems like it might've been spam.1 yearGot a call earlier from some bloke named David claiming to be from Windows & Doors Ltd. I said I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away.DavidWindows & Doors Ltd1 yearI just don’t get why they’re always calling and bugging us like this?1 yearAbsolutely pointless call, no one answered when I picked up. Such a waste of my time, so I just ended the call straight away.1 yearI think this number has rung me before, but I only just saw the call now. Not sure if it’s their initial attempt or not.1 yearNever pick up if you spot 02080028792 popping up, it’s just spam. Best thing to do is block it straight away.1 yearKept calling loads of times but when I picked up, no one said anything. Total spam.1 yearGot a call from this number but I didn't say anything when I answered cause I reckon some of those robo calls get going just by you talking. Couldn’t hear any noise on the other end, so probably one of those automated ones.Submit Your Own Report (020 8002 8792)
