I just got a phone call from this number, claiming to be from the Warrington Borough Council, inquiring about some accident I supposedly had two years back. The thing is, I've never lived in Warrington, nor have I been involved in any sort of accident! Clearly, they were trying to reel me in for personal info, so I decided to hang up rather than engage.

I picked up the call, but there was complete silence on the line, and then they just cut off. I'm unlisted and tend to keep my number private, so I'm puzzled as to how they managed to obtain it. This is the second or possibly third time I’ve had a call from them over the last six months. Quite disconcerting, really!
