Got a call from this number, and it was some automated message telling me that HMRE has started a fraud investigation against me. Seemed totally fishy to me.

this number is definitely mine, even though i hardly pick it up. somehow someone dodgy is using it as if it’s their own - which it absolutely isn’t. they’re faking the caller ID to show this quite nice number, probably to seem more legit or something. had a voicemail explaining this like the one from 29.03.16 mentioned, but that message might’ve been taken down. maybe i’ll put it up again. honestly, i’m just as annoyed as anyone else and can’t figure out any way to give these muppets a taste of their own medicine.

Just got a call about some supposed car crash claim, total spam!

This bloke called me, said I'd been in a car crash and then started asking for loads of personal info, supposedly to be mates. Felt really off.

I got a call from this number yesterday about some car accident claim. Thing is, I don’t even own a car or drive, so it was pretty odd. Then today, the bloke rang again trying to push the same story. I told him straight up I wasn’t interested and asked him to take me off whatever list he had. After that, he started going on about how ‘nice’ I was (which I definitely wasn’t feeling at the time) and kept pestering me to be mates and share my WhatsApp. Honestly, this guy’s really pushy, quite rude, and honestly a bit unsettling. Would steer clear of this number!

I received a call from a claims agency, I believe. When I declined their offer and ended the call, they proceeded to ring me back thrice, inquiring about my decision to hang up. I reiterated my lack of interest, but they persisted. The caller claimed to be based in London, yet the line was quite distorted, and the woman on the other end had an accent that sounded Indian, making communication a challenge. She went on to comment on how lovely my voice was and went as far as to say she adored me, which struck me as utterly strange. Without a doubt, this is nothing but a nuisance, either spam or a telemarketing ploy. It’s incredibly frustrating and really ought to be addressed.

Encountered a rather eccentric chap with a foreign twang who seemed to think I’d pay him any mind. Definitely claimed to be from a legal firm, but I just brushed it off.
