Got a call from 020 3000 1077 about a parcel supposedly left at some depot. When I asked which depot, they just said London. Told them I don’t live anywhere near that area and then they just ended the call on me. Bit odd if you ask me.

They already had my name and number, so I don't know why they'd want more info. They said they'd email me, but it's been almost two hours and nothing has come through.

Got a ring from this number asking me to verify some details and agree to an email they said they'd send. They mentioned an old email address I haven't touched in close to a decade and couldn't explain much about this 'parcel' they supposedly tried dropping off thrice. There's always someone in the house, so I was pretty suspicious right away! The woman gave her name, which oddly matched a mate of ours. If you get calls from suspicious numbers, text them to 7726 - your network provider uses that to track spam! You can have a look online to see that this is legit info. Also, don’t forget to block the number directly on your mobile. Seriously, there should be much tougher laws against these annoying spam calls!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with "Post Office Depot" about a parcel supposedly waiting for me. It was a real person, not a machine, but it smelt fishy right away. The woman couldn’t specify which office depot she was ringing from, and said her name was "Anna Smith," but her strong accent made me think she definitely wasn’t being honest with her name. Looks like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be Royal Mail. They said they needed to send me an email with instructions on how to pay an extra £1.50 for postage before they could deliver a parcel. They also couldn’t explain why I couldn’t just pop down to the Post Office to sort it out and pick up the package. Something about the whole thing just didn’t feel right, looked like a scam to me.
