He said he did but needed to verify, so I gave it as Paul Lynch. Then he went on asking me to spell it, even though he had it right in front of him! I couldn’t stop laughing. Then about half an hour later, some “accountant” rings to finalise things and wants to send me a code to read back. The text looked like it was from O2 and showed previous messages from them, but it included a warning NOT to share the code with anyone, not even an O2 rep. I laughed and told him I wasn’t giving it out because it must be a scam. He hung up on me right away. Honestly, it’s kinda scary they can send messages that look so genuine. If that warning wasn’t there, I might’ve believed it was legit.
