When you get a call from them, it's wise to have your CV readily available online, as they are probably reaching out regarding job prospects. They contacted us, and just two days later, I found myself in a fresh role. Absolutely fantastic!

It’s rather obvious, isn’t it? Your résumé was everywhere on the internet! If you're not keen on receiving calls from headhunters or even your current boss, perhaps you ought to reconsider your online presence and cease your moaning. It seems someone was merely trying to help you land a role. So why not give a thought to replying once you’ve made your number public for all to see, effectively stating you’re in the job market? Cheers, Peter.

Received a call on our mobile earlier this afternoon. We tend to avoid answering calls from numbers we don't recognise, so we decided to leave this message instead. Just a short while later, the same number called again. We opted to leave another note.

Recruiters aren't out there hunting for candidates using Yell.com, mate. Honestly, it’s a bit daft to think that. They sift through CVs on proper platforms, and if they reckon you fit the bill, they'll get in touch. They're not as clueless as those telemarketers who ring up everyone and their dog using a Yell.com list. You're not going to catch them out by assuming they'd hire someone with your background. Come on, think a little!

Well, I must say, it’s rather amusing that both incidents occurred on the 1st of April-ironic, isn’t it? Makes one ponder who the real fool might be! And honestly, if someone’s trying to give you a bell and you haven’t a clue who they are, wouldn’t it be simpler to just pick up and find out? What’s the point of having a phone otherwise? That chap above seemed to manage just fine and even held down a job-clearly, you missed out! Lastly, can we talk about the quality of some of these posts? Let's not even get started on the date: 1st April 2008-just a tad concerning!
