I got a call from someone claiming they had proof I’d been looking into buying cryptocurrency online. When I asked them what proof they actually had, the woman on the line, who had that common strong Indian accent, snapped at me asking why I was being so difficult. Naturally, she couldn’t back up what she was saying and kept insisting she was just trying to help me invest in crypto - even though I’d already made it clear I’d never looked into it and wasn’t interested at all. After she started banging on over me, I told her to get lost.
