On the 26th April 2023 around 4.40 in the afternoon, I didn’t pick up when they asked me who it was, then the call just dropped.

Somebody rang up asking for Adrian, then they bumped me straight away with another call. Not sure who it was.

I received a rather dubious call recently from a woman who attempted to engage me regarding art investment, claiming she had my email from some previous communication where I expressed interest in either art or whiskey. When I inquired if the email address she mentioned belonged to me, she just skirted around the issue and avoided giving me any clue about how she had acquired my phone number, saying she'd explain later. She insisted that she wasn’t looking for any money from me at that moment, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that she eventually would. It all reeked of a scam cold call, if you ask me!

I received a phone call attempting to suggest I had a keen interest in a gallery opportunity. Cheers, but no thanks, love. It’s quite embarrassing to be part of such dubious cold calling schemes. How about finding a proper job like most of us?

I had a rather peculiar encounter recently with someone claiming to be from an art gallery. They rambled on incessantly without giving me a moment to chime in. I believe her name was something along the lines of Sally Swonded. It felt rather dodgy, perhaps even a phishing attempt.
