dodgy hmrc call (extra info) so when you pick up, theres this posh sounding bloke on a recorded message saying its about a fraud investigation. they tell you to press one to talk or else you’ll get arrested and an arrest warrant will be issued. after about 4 seconds, the call just ends. honestly, i was making a cuppa and had some biscuits ready for whoever comes knocking with that ‘arrest warrant’. i spotted straight away it was a scam but loads of older or more vulnerable folks might be tricked by it.
