Yesterday, my partner who's 72 got a call from this number on her mobile. There was this really scary recorded message claiming it was from HMRC, saying they had her details and that she owed a big sum of money. She didn't realise it was a recording at first. Luckily, I was close by and took the phone from her, knowing straight away it was a scam, so I ended the call. Then I tried ringing the number back from my phone, but it just didn’t connect - clearly a fake or masked number.
