Posted an advert for building jobs on Gumtree and as soon as it went live, the phone started ringing non-stop. I ignore the calls and just block the numbers right away. But they keep calling from slightly different numbers each time, so I block again. It’s like a never-ending cycle, but I’m sure eventually they’ll run out of new numbers to use.

I've been getting calls from a London number starting with +44 quite frequently, sometimes even twice in a single day. When I finally picked up one time, the caller had a strong accent and kept asking me questions about my computer and whether I was using the PC at that moment. These calls happen around two or three times every week. Blocking one number doesn't help at all since the next call always shows a slightly different number at the end. It's incredibly frustrating!

Just got a call with some automated voice telling me I’d won £500 in vouchers... total scam!

It’s always that same dodgy PPI or scam outfit. Honestly, how long is the ICO gonna let these lot get away with it?
