Got a call claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer being hacked. Some bloke with an Indian accent was really pushy. He said if I didn’t let him take control of my PC, it’d get locked. When I asked where he was calling from, he said “Reading” but sounded like “Reeding.” I asked for his phone number and he gave me 1183283295 - seemed dodgy to me. I hung up. He rang back a few minutes later and got the same treatment. Over the next hour, I got four more calls but never picked up. Each call came from a slightly different number, only last two digits changed. Honestly, someone should really sort this scam out.

Got a call from an unfamiliar number on my mobile, didn’t recognise it at all. Pretty sure it was one of those cold calls from TalkTalk or some other company trying to sell something.
