Today I got a call from 07852288469. The person said they were from HMRC and claimed I was involved in tax fraud.

This is definitely a scam, I would warn everyone about it. They even threatened to cancel my driving licence, passport and National Insurance number. Really dangerous stuff, watch out!

Loads of times people call just to ask you for cash and it’s always some sort of scam.

Got a call from what said it was HMRC, telling me there was a warrant for my arrest. They wanted me to press 1 to talk to someone. When I did, the person on the other end didn’t even know my full name or where I live, which felt really dodgy. I just hung up straight away. Tried calling the number back and it played a message from the royal courts of justice, but I wouldn't trust it. Definitely don’t hand over any personal info to these lot!

I told the bloke on the line from Crete that he was a con artist and liar, and that HMRC had no case against me. He just snapped, "Oi, you Mother Fu####." If I’m right, the tax office wouldn’t speak to people like that. Their other contact is 07322 242245. Don’t get caught out - stand your ground and give ’em what for!

Got a rude bloke on the phone claiming there was a warrant out for my arrest over tax fraud. When I said I'd ring my work to check, he sternly told me not to get in touch with anyone. Honestly, just ignore calls like this.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC but I reckon it was a scam. They sounded a bit off and kept pushing me to give personal details. Definitely didn’t seem legit to me. Watch out if you get a call like that!
