Got a call yesterday from a guy who had a really thick accent, claiming to be from EE and saying I could get a 40% discount. I told him my daughter actually handles the account, so he asked to speak to her. I said she was busy at work, and then he said he’d ring back at 10am the next day to speak to her. It was pretty clear he was trying to scam me, so I ended up blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from a lady speaking with quite a thick foreign accent, claiming she was ringing about some SKY deal. She said as loyal customers, we could get a special discount. Something felt off though, so I cut the chat short and said I’d rather ring SKY myself to sort out any discounts.
