Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach about my broadband, but i’m not even with BT. I listened for a bit then just hung up. They asked me to give them my IP address or something? No way was i sharing that info with them.

Got a call around 6pm, some woman claiming she knew I got into a crash that wasn’t my fault. I just told her I’d been decapitated and was dead, then told her to get lost.

Looks like a voip line, so could be based anywhere but it seems to be a London dialling code. They keep calling from multiple similar numbers with just the last two digits changing. Got a dodgy call about an accident - couldn’t make out the accent at all. Kept asking them to say the company name again, they said they were from London - Gloucester Street, and that they’d got my info from the UK RTA records. Told them the accident was on April 1st, 2015 - went through the whole spiel about it being the other driver’s fault and why we hadn’t claimed insurance, saying it was a head-on crash and we’d all died, so they should delete my details from their system! After that, he just lost interest and ended the call.
