Got a call earlier today, but honestly I’ve had loads like this before over the past few months. Every time, it’s the same old chat. They keep saying I’d been involved in a crash within the last couple of years and it wasn’t my fault. I always reply with “That’s not right” but they just keep insisting I had an accident. Some woman called "Natasha" asked if I’d been in a crash, I lied and said yes (I hadn’t). She then passed me over to her boss, a man with a strong foreign accent. He wanted to know when the accident happened, so I asked how he’d got my number! He claimed it came from the Road Traffic Accidents Database! I kept playing along, asking who runs this database and all that. He nearly shouted, demanding to know if I’d really had a crash or not!! After a bit, he says "Thanks for WASTING MY TIME" and just hung up!!! Proper funny moment! :-)

So, apparently I was involved in some accident (which is odd cause I can't recall anything like that for the past 36 years - maybe I bonked me head???). They gave me a ring about it. When I asked where they found my phone number, they just hung up on me! The woman on the other side said her name was Natasha Watson. If that’s her real name, well, then I’m probably Sherlock Holmes!
