Got a missed call from this number at 5.25pm today, but I never picked up. Curiosity got the better of me so I dialled it back, only to get told "the number you have dialled is invalid". To me, it screams scam - sounds like they're using some fake or computer-made number pretending to be from London. If it was legit, you’d be able to return the call no problem.

Whenever an unknown number pops up on my phone, I just don't pick up. If it’s a scam, PPI, accident claim or something else and they don’t bother leaving a voicemail, I block them straight away on my HTC. They won’t bother me again after that. They’re welcome to keep ringing, but I’ll keep blocking until they catch on and stop selling my number around. The government really ought to do something about this and introduce rules to stop it happening.
