0207 946 1269 just rang me claiming I’d been in an accident recently. I told them I never authorised them to use my details and that I’d be lodging a complaint with the ICO and the TPS. They said they were from Glaxo Customer Service - I’m curious if the big pharma firm even realises someone’s using their name like this.

Earlier today, I received a call from this number, but it only rang a few times before cutting off. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a message stating, “The number you’ve dialled is not valid.” Quite puzzling, I must say!

020794 61269 rang me again with the usual nonsense about a car crash. I kept chatting to them for ages, told them I’m rubbish at driving and supposedly had a dozen crashes in the last 2 years. They didn’t catch on until I mentioned my white stick gets caught up with the steering wheel. Then she just hung up straight away.
