My mum’s pretty hard of hearing and when someone she doesn’t know calls late in the evening, like 9pm, she just hangs up because she can’t make out who it is. Got a call tonight from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian accent. He said he was ringing from some lifestyle company and told me one of his mates had called a few days before but I was too busy. I told him that couldn't be right as I would've told them to shove off if they'd called. Then he tried saying maybe someone else at my house got the call, like a family member or something. But I told him I live alone, so that’s not possible. He kept pushing with questions, so I just ended the call.
