Called me at 09:45, said there was something wrong with my computer. I told her it’s working fine and then ended the call. The voice sounded like a foreign lady.

Got a call from someone claiming my computer needed urgent fixing, then tried to convince me to pay a hefty fee. I told them I actually use a MacBook and iMac, but they insisted on running some sort of check anyway. I mentioned I had a tech-savvy mate with me who knows Macs and PCs, so maybe they could have a look. After that, the line just dropped. Tried calling back but BT said the number wasn’t recognised. Definitely a scam.
