FRAUD ALERT I received a call that turned out to be a pre-recorded message claiming to be from a Magistrate in London. The gist of it was that if I didn’t take action, my National Insurance number would be disabled. They threw in some dire threats to make it sound even more alarming, then instructed me to press 1 to connect with the so-called officer handling the situation. Naturally, I decided it was best to cut the call there.
