Tried ringing but it just went to guardian or something, couldn’t get hold of anyone so I’ve just blocked the number now.

Got a call from a blocked number offering to extend the warranty on my home appliances. We don’t have any extra coverage, so it felt like a dodgy scam trying to catch people out. Ignored it straight away.

Got a call from a lady who sounded Asian and obviously was working in some call centre, trying to push a "renewal" for our home appliance cover. When I asked her for warranty details and stuff, she said they don’t actually keep those records. Then, she just hung up when I asked if we’d ever dealt with them before. What really gave it away was that she called me by the name of someone who’s been dead for well over a decade! Totally a scam.
