Got a call from some bloke named Kevin trying to flog me a deal with Maxen Power. He was on about cutting down energy loss through wiring, but had no proof whatsoever. I’ve heard other people say they never got refunds from these lot. Loads of glowing reviews seem fishy too, mostly coming from places in Asia. Since then, my phone’s been bombarded with about 13 calls in just 30 minutes from all sorts of 0330, 0333 and 020 numbers. Proper hassle.
