Received a message that was exactly the same, so I decided to look up the number. Turns out it was linked to something about the Bank of China?! It's obviously some sort of scam, if you ask me!

Seems rather credible, doesn’t it? However, we’ve been inundated with a fair few of these scams lately, and we're not even with O2!

Indeed, we received a similar message through email not long ago. However, much like yourselves, we haven't possessed that O2 number for at least a couple of years now. It certainly appears to be some sort of scam.
