On Wednesday 28th October, I got a call from 020 7924 6966 but as soon as my answerphone kicked in, they just dropped the call. Seems a bit suspicious to me.

Someone rang me saying they were from data compliance to help stop nuisance calls. When I asked how they got my number, they just said, “I don’t want to chat with you anymore,” and then they ended the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

02079246966 - my missus picked up the phone and this bloke with a clear Indian accent said there was a problem with her bank account, claiming a direct debit for some electrical warranty had been tampered with. She honestly told him she had no such payments on her accounts, which seemed to annoy him quite a bit. I was in the next room and could hear the call going downhill quickly. Eventually, I grabbed the extension and told the caller off, saying he was the one acting shady, being rude and having no right to talk to anyone, especially a woman, like that.
