Even after 4 years, this number is still a hotspot for scammers. I got a call recently, but when they were asked basic questions like “what company are you from?” or “who am I speaking to?” they just kept quiet. Plus, they wouldn’t even bother to leave a voicemail. Definitely dodgy behaviour.

Had the same number ring me again today - that's two days running now. After reading up on here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. There’s just way too many of these dodgy calls going around and it’s a bit rubbish that the phone companies and regulators don’t seem able to stop them.

I got a call the other day from someone asking for my mum, but she no longer has the contract linked to this number. I told them I’m her daughter. They kept insisting on speaking to my mum, but I told them I’m the owner of this number and asked who they were. They claimed to be from O2, but I challenged them that if that was true, they’d know the number is under my name now, not my mum’s. They had the gall to say their records were right and I was the one confused. So rude! Would recommend not picking up if you get a call from this number.
