I received a call the other day.

I got a call from this number and the person claimed to be from Uswitch.com, which from the comments here seems legit. To be honest, I had been looking at a few energy comparison websites recently. The chap who phoned confirmed what I’d already found out, so it felt alright. The issue was he was quite keen for me to decide straight away, but I told him I needed time to think over various things and would call back if I was happy. He kept pushing to call me again, but I insisted I’d rather make the call myself. That’s the tricky bit with these companies - they almost make you feel like you should commit on the spot, but I’m not like that. Cheers for this site though, it helped me get the info I needed. I tried uswitch around 8 in the morning. Then, this number rang me at about 9:50! I’m really annoyed if they’ve shared my info without my consent. All I wanted was to find a cheaper gas deal!
