Somebody rang, claiming to be from BT, but it definitely wasn’t them. The lady said my internet was sluggish and suggested I upgrade my server or something along those lines. I told her I wasn’t interested. While we were talking, I tested my internet speed and sure enough, it was slow. She then asked me to go to the App Store and search for something called APP DESK. When I checked it out, it looked like a remote access tool that could control your devices - phone, laptop, whatever. As soon as I said I wasn’t gonna download it, she just dropped the call. Total scam, no doubt about it.
