Got a call from this number and the voicemail was one of those automated warnings claiming to be from HMRC. The tone was super pushy and sketchy, definitely felt like a scam trying to scare you. Watch out for these!

I received a rather alarming voicemail from this number, indicating that I’m allegedly involved in some sort of criminal activity. This is the second time I’ve brushed it off, but now they’re insisting that I call back straightaway, or else there’ll be a warrant for my arrest! It feels a bit over the top, doesn’t it?

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMR, saying I’d be in trouble legally if I ignored it. They told me to have my “legal rep” ring them back. Don’t fall for it though, tax offices definitely don’t handle things like that.

I got a recorded call which sounded like it was from HMRC, but it was really pushy and threatening, saying they'd have me locked up with a warrant out for my arrest. Honestly, I just thought, well as a serving police officer, I might as well hand myself in if that's the case. This has got to be a scam, so please don't ring them back - HMRC definitely wouldn’t do things like this.

Got a robo call pretending to be some officer from HMRC saying I had to ring back or talk to a criminal defence lawyer. They kept threatening that if I didn’t call, a warrant would be out for my arrest. Total scam, obviously. Don’t fall for it.
