I continue to receive voicemails and text messages from Cabot Financial intended for a certain Michael O'Neill, who apparently holds an account with them. However, I must clarify that I am not associated with this person, and despite my numerous requests, they refuse to remove my phone number from their records. Frustrated by their persistence, I have already blocked two different landline numbers and three mobile numbers in the past. Yet, Cabot Financial seems to have resorted to using a new landline number now. On their last call, I resorted to playing a compilation of crying baby sounds from YouTube. Surprisingly, they endured the distressing noises for a full ten minutes before finally hanging up the call!

Cabot or DLC are after a debt thats 9 years old. I heard they purchase old debts and keep bothering you till you pay, but I was told they can't actually force you to pay, even if they threaten to take you to court. Since the debt is no longer owed to the original company, you dont owe anything to Cabot or DLC whatsoever.

I received a call at my workplace from a woman with a foreign accent who requested me to verify my personal information before disclosing the purpose of her call. I explained that I couldn't engage in personal calls while at work. She then suggested calling me on my mobile, to which I agreed. Surprisingly, she asked me for my own number!
