My mate got a call from this number 02072062720 and after checking, it’s tied to a bloke named James Harding. He says he’s from the Chartered Institute of Trading but it’s a load of rubbish. They’re scamming my friend by sending dodgy emails and won’t stop ringing, trying to scare him. Totally not legit.

Don't bother answering if this number rings you. They're pretending to be a legit bank and trying to con people into handing over cash through bogus bills and phony investments. Totally a scam, so avoid it!

They say they can get back money you lost, but only if you pay them first. Really pushy bunch, trying all sorts of tricks to get you to hand over loads of cash. They rush you, telling you time’s running out to claim your money. At one point, they even sent something that looked like a court letter if you don’t pay up! They keep switching their number and pretending to be different people. They even copy official letterheads, so it all looks proper and convincing.

Got a call from Equitas Capital Partners, they claimed to be handling the liquidation of Eco Synergie carbon credit thing. Said they could get my money back. Just a heads up, be really careful with these types.

Sounds like a total scam if you ask me. They claim they can help get your money back from a company that’s been shut down, but of course, they want you to pay first. I even joked that if they paid me, I’d give them twice as much back, but apparently that’s a no-go!
