I wasn’t having any of it, so I just ended the call. Later, I dialled 1471 and saw the number was actually one digit longer than usual. When I tried ringing it back, the phone started ringing before I’d even finished dialling the whole number. Someone answered, but it wasn’t the same voice as before.
