Apparently calling from ESP or ESB Energy, looking for someone I’ve never heard of. I told them they’d got the wrong number. Even though it’s clear they’re scammers, the chap was quite polite, said sorry for the inconvenience and wished me a lovely day before ending the call. I get dozens of calls every week from different numbers. Usually I just ignore them, but since I was expecting a call from the same area code, I picked up this one. I’m sure now that I answered, I’ll be getting even more calls than before.
