Lately, our home phone has been ringing off the hook-over ten calls daily! On top of that, we’re inundated with a deluge of emails and letters popping through our letterbox. They're even making veiled threats about sending someone round to create a scene in front of the neighbours. Surely this constitutes harassment, doesn't it? I can't fathom how it's permissible to hound people in such a relentless manner.

Just to add to what I said earlier, I rang MMF using their Freephone 0800 9961103. Had a proper word with them and clarified that their intended person isn't at my dad's place. They promised to remove his contact from their records. Fingers crossed this sorts it out.

Since my dad shifted into his new bungalow back in April, he's been getting these nasty calls from some lot called MMF - people named Steven, Shane, and Mike. I picked up one of their calls, rang back, and ended up fifth in a long queue, so I just gave up. They ring him at all hours, sometimes as early as 8am and as late as 10pm. My dad’s 91, he really doesn’t deserve this kind of stress. I’m considering getting the police involved to see if they can help sort it out.

Just after getting my home phone set up at the end of December, I got a call less than half an hour later from someone called Mike, using a number starting with 01135. Since then, the calls haven’t stopped, and today another one came through from 02078706877. It’s really annoying and a bit scary - surely there’s a way to block this bloke from making these creepy and aggressive calls? I’m in my eighties, so that first call really shook me up. I can only imagine how upsetting this kind of thing is for others.

So today my ex sent me a text asking me to call this number urgently... decided to google the number and stumbled upon this forum, quite a read! I’m gonna keep everything in mind now. Got in touch with the ex to reassure her not to stress. Seems like some sort of scam thing. Weird how they called my previous address too, when our divorce happened more than 4 years ago.
