When I caught on, I looked up the number and found this site while still keeping the call open, phone sitting on my desk as I write this. I've left it going for around 10 minutes now... guess who's paying for the call? Not me, that’s for sure. Most folks would have ended it straight away, but I’m curious to see how long they'll keep me on before they hang up. I've since blacklisted the number so they won't ring me back again.6 monthsGot a call again, second time now, and he was asking for me by name! Kept asking if I sold stuff online and was really pushy about getting an answer. When I asked who he was, he dodged the question, all the while I could hear typing sounds like he was just doing something else. Eventually, he said he was with some company called Appeal Guru, but when I asked what they actually do, he couldn’t really explain. Sounds very dodgy to me, and he had an English accent too. When I questioned who they were, they were quite brusque and kept mumbling, just insisting if this was the "Full Name" they’d found on Companies House or one of the marketplaces.
