02078601135 I let it go to voicemail initially. The message was pretty confusing, something about calling them back or facing serious consequences. The woman’s tone was quite intimidating. When I finally got through, they mentioned a case number and asked for my info. I told them that if it was actually HMRC, they’d send a letter first. Then they just ended the call. :)

My elderly mum, who’s 80, got a call from the number 02078569465 on her Northern Ireland landline and she was really shaken up by it. She phoned me straight away feeling upset, and it’s tough enough for her as she’s been completely isolated for over five weeks now. Honestly, these callers are awful - they ought to be exposed and thrown into the stocks like in the old days, left outside for everyone to see, treated no better than animals.

Got a call from this number again, just a few days apart. It was some automated voice saying they were from HMRC. I ended the call right away.

There was this automated lady voice warning about some kind of consequences if you didn’t ring back. Honestly, it felt pretty pushy and a bit threatening if you didn’t pause and consider what was going on.

Got a call from a robotic woman warning me about "consequences" if I didn’t ring back and telling me not to ignore the message - complete rubbish if you ask me!

Got a voicemail from some dodgy automated message warning me to call back or the police from HMRC would be coming for me, said it was urgent or something. Honestly, I couldn’t stop laughing - so blatantly a scam, it was obvious straight away.

Got a robo call this morning at about 10:17. The voice sounded like it was saying Dennis Grey or that some warrant was for Dennis Grey. The line was really scratchy and kept cutting out. Pretty sure it was someone from America. They left this number 0207 860 1135 to ring back on and warned if I didn’t respond, there’d be repercussions. Just trashed it straight away!!

Got a strange call from an unknown number, with a pre recorded American voice saying I must call them back or they’ll take legal action against me. The message was really choppy and breaking up at parts. Bit worried now, not sure if it’s legit or just a scam. Anyone else heard of this?

Definitely a scam, I don’t understand why the police aren’t taking any action. They’ve got the means to trace who owns this number for sure.

Got a call from some automated American lady pretending to be HMRC, saying I’d face legal trouble if I didn’t ring them back. Total scam!

I didn’t pick up, but there was a message left. It was all crackly and jumbled, honestly sounded like they didn’t even know what they were doing. The only bits I could make out were a number to call back (which I’m really curious about) and this weird warning about “you will face the consequences”. Proper dodgy!

Like some folks have pointed out already, it’s an automated message from an American woman. The call kept cutting out and she asked me to ring back or face legal trouble. Total scam, don’t fall for it.
