I received a call today from the number listed above, claiming to be operating out of Sheffield and affiliated with the Portland Group. Seems rather dubious, doesn’t it? They were pushing me to either sell my carbon credits or hand them over to avoid further scam calls. Oddly enough, they provided me with a number to supposedly contact the carbon credit register, but I’ve got my suspicions that it’s likely a co-conspirator in this scheme. Upon checking the number they gave, it turned out to be incorrect. Clearly, this is nothing more than a blatant scam!
