This outfit is IMPERSONATING Currencies Direct and is NOT the real Currencies Direct!! It’s a proper dodgy scam and I’m worried about some folks here saying it’s safe like it’s truly CD. We’ve used Currencies Direct before so they obviously knew we had an account. They told us there was money in it and that it’d been frozen, all to trick us into handing over login and bank info. Stay alert!! Log into your account properly, take out your money, change your passwords, then get in touch with CD straight away to report what happened.

I got three messages from this number back in early Feb. Two of them were totally silent, no one speaking, and the third one was just a long breath in followed by a burp! Seems like this wasn’t a real call and was probably meant to annoy me, which I’d say counts as harassment. I’m definitely not picking up if this number rings again.

Currencies Direct is a legit place for currency transfers, I’ve been using them for about 3 months now with no problems. Although I did get a couple of random calls before I signed up, which were a bit annoying. Still, they save me a fair amount and there’s no fees on international transfers. Pretty happy overall.

Got this annoying cold caller on 14th June 2018, bloke sounded early 30s, Asian maybe, with an English accent. He was asking for the finance department but didn’t know anyone here, and had no ID or reference to back it up. I said no thanks but he rang straight back from the same number. Proper irritating, just wasting time and felt like harassment with the constant ringing. Totallly unwanted bother.

i keep getting calls from this ‘currencies direct’ place. i told them they shouldn’t be phoning me since i’m on the telephone preference service. i even asked the guy for their company registration number but he said he didn’t know what i meant! so i just ended the call. if they keep it up, i’ll report them to the information commissioner’s office.

there's this firm called currencies direct. if you sell stuff on amazon or ebay and get paid in euro € or usd $, they can help you save cash. they open a bank account for you in europe or the us and then convert the money to gbp for less fees. been with them for a few years now, and they're legit.
