Got a call from a number I didn’t know so I just ignored it. Surprisingly, they left a voicemail, which struck me as odd since scammers usually don’t bother with that. The message said they were calling from Halifax Bank and they followed up with an email that looked pretty legit too. They were trying to pitch some financial services. Since it was an unexpected call and I’m not looking to buy any financial stuff, I didn’t bother calling back or replying to the email.

Got a call from this number earlier today but they didn’t leave any message. Tried ringing back but nobody picked up. Since I didn’t recognise it, I’ve just blocked it now.
