This number has been calling us repeatedly throughout the week. They seemed quite keen to know our names, as if we were some new acquaintances (cheeky character, indeed!). It turns out they're linked to a debt collection agency that has taken over our vehicle loan. We even received a letter from them today, and it appears it took them a good two weeks to reach us.

If you take a gander at the Consumer Action Group forums, you'll soon discover that Link Financial is a rather notorious name in the debt collection realm. A quick look will reveal a plethora of threads discussing their practices, and I can assure you, not a great deal of it is favourable. However, fear not! There’s an abundance of wise counsel to be found that can guide you in severing ties with Link for good.

I recently had a run-in with a company named LINK or LINK FINANCIAL-DEBT COLLECTORS. They certainly seem to have a knack for reaching out to folks when you least expect it! I was particularly taken aback when "BARRY" gave us a bell. That said, I have no intention of returning his call. I've made a note of the number and will be adding it to my blocked list. Just a heads up for anyone else who might be in the same boat!

This number has been ringing us a fair few times this week. They even had the audacity to address us by our first names, as if we were old mates (how cheeky of them!). It appears that it's Link Financial on the other end, those debt collectors who've taken over our car loan. Just received a letter from them earlier today, and it seems the post has been taking its sweet time - took nearly two weeks to arrive!

These individuals are nothing more than debt recovery agents, and I advise you to label their number as “ignore” in your contacts. Do they really not understand that if times were not so dire, I would have the means to settle my bills without a hitch and potentially at a far more reasonable interest rate than the extortionate 29.9%? Clearly, if that were the case, we'd not be facing such defaults now. It’s ludicrous! We've already settled this debt multiple times! Total numpties! Just give Nicky at Link a wide berth when their number pops up.

These individuals are clearly debt collectors, and I would recommend saving their number as “Ignore” in your phone. Do these folks not understand that if circumstances were more favourable, I wouldn't be in this position? In better times, I could have settled my bills, potentially at a much more reasonable interest rate than the outrageous 29.9%. It’s no wonder there’s such a high rate of defaults! Honestly, we’ve paid this off multiple times already. They really need a reality check! Just disregard any calls from “Nicky” at Link.
