I got a call from a company claiming to be O2, as my contract was near ending. I picked up thinking it was O2, but got suspicious when they wanted me to verify personal info. When I questioned why they needed my details if they were really O2, they finally admitted they weren't O2 but some third party hired to keep O2 customers on board, though they seemed a bit too eager to deny it. What really annoys me is O2 passing on my number to these firms!
