I just got one of those robo calls, sounded like an American trying to sound urgent, saying some money had been taken from my account. They rattled off a bunch of numbers they said was part of the account but didn’t say any bank or building society name, which made me instantly think it was dodgy. Then they kept telling me to ‘press 1’ or ‘press 2’ for options. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
