Got a call from this number claiming to be my bank, then shortly after I got a text saying it was from Halifax, where I have an AIP for a mortgage but I’d asked them not to contact me. So, I looked up the number online and also rang both my bank and Halifax to check. They wouldn’t ever ask me to ring a mobile, not something my bank would ever do from what I know.

I got a call from someone claiming to be my bank. Total spam, didn’t even try to be convincing. Just hung up straight away.
